Oh yeah... So, I'm at The Nashville Guitar Show a few weeks ago checking out all the cool gear. I cruise over to see Crocker and my extended family. He's showing me some of Fred Stuart's Gretsch style Tele's he did for Eugene back in the day. Gretsch orange, belt buckle trim. Huge burnt in "F" logo. Both serial numbers in sequence. Then they pull out a George Amicay carved Strat sort of thing. It was pretty cool. As the show goes on the owner of the Tele's in Dave's booth brings over this case. He says "check this out." So he pops open this hardshell case and this is what I see...!!! I'm gawking at this "thing!" WTF? Well, here' s some of his story. He bought it from a person who knew the owners wife. The husband has since passed. He worked at Gibson in accounting and was retiring in 1997. 24-3/4" scale. 1-11/16" nut width. 7.28 pounds. He always wanted a Roundup. So for his retirement, some custom shop employees built him his Roundup! Please...!!! Check all the quality workmanship. The gold double pickup surrounds. The leather work. The finish. All top notch custom. So, while I was in Nashville I set up an appointment with my Doctor. And the Doctor has seen many, many patients. But, nothing like this...He did a little research in his medical records and yes. It was handled by many in RN's in that ward. Dr. Geo. Amicay on the inlays. And many specialists worked with the "body" and "appendages." There are some initials in the body cavity, I'm still trying to ID... Nothing yet... So, any help from any other doctors will be rewarded handsomely. BH
